While both the US, through protectionism and punitive tariffs, and Great Britain by opting out of the EU, have opted for economic isolation, the entanglement of companies in Europe continues to develop. Especially transport companies like Deutsche Bahn benefit from a united Europe without borders – should they not also actively promote greater European integration, even beyond individual projects and subsidies? How big is or how big could the impact of companies on society and politics be if they position and engage more strongly than before?
On the other hand, European politics also influences the foundations of companies: how does the private sector evaluate the plans for a pan-European economic policy, as outlined by Emmanuel Macron? What impact do his plans have on companies like the DB? What do German companies expect from the EU and its institutions, what future do they see in further European integration? We would like to discuss these and other questions with you and Ronald Pofalla.
We look forward to your participation and ask you to register until 31.08. online (see below) or by e-mail.
